Outdoor Pursuits
Rock Wall
2024 marked the first year for Camp Pugwash’s rock wall. This activity has been a hot pick for campers of all ages. This rock wall has a towering height of over 26 feet. It is catered to all levels of climbers, from beginner to experienced.
Gymnastics
If you ever found yourself spontaneously doing a cartwheel then this is a class for you. In this activity you will learn basic gymnastic and coordination skills. You will also be able to take part of a gymnastic routine to showcase to the rest of the camp.
Archery
Come take a shot at a target. Campers will try their hand at safely operating a bow and arrow while honing their marksmanship skills in the great outdoors.
Sports
Soccer, baseball, volleyball, and many more options. As a group you can choose what sports will be focused on for the week.
ZUMBA!
What is Zumba? Zumba is a high-energy fitness activity that involves physical endurance and rhythmic coordination. If you are someone with lots of energy, then this is the perfect class for you!
Arts
Baking
We are excited to introduce another new class to Pugwash! Baking! This is a highly rewarding activity that campers will be able to learn how to make different kinds of recipes. Register ASAP before this activity is filled up!
Ceramics
Get creative with clay! Bisque fired projects and greenware are chosen for sculpting and/or glazing. Each camper will enjoy taking home their project at the end of the week. Isaiah 64:8.
Arts & Crafts
This activity offers a new creative adventure each day. If you want to learn exactly what, you will just have to choose this activity and find out.
Tie-Dye
Spend the week learning about different dye patterns and making a custom shirt to take home.
Photography
Campers will explore digital photography through tasks and challenges relating to taking photos, editing, and compiling. Explore the camp grounds as you capture each moment. Cameras will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own!
Rocketry
This class will allow campers to construct a model rocket and personalize it to their own liking. At the end of the week, campers will be given the opportunity to launch their rocket into the sky!
Music
The wonderful art of music (guitar, ukulele, simple instrumentation, etc.) will be explored and appreciated in our Camp setting. Campers are invited to bring their instruments and voices (If the student has no instrument, Ukuleles and guitars are available for use at camp.)
Waterfront
Tubing
This class requires no introduction. One of the most fun activities you can do at camp.
Canoeing, Kayaking, & Paddle-boarding
Sail the great ocean waters in your own little boat! This activity is a wonderful and unique experience for campers to learn how to canoe and kayak.
Swimming
If you are looking to spend an hour on the beach, making sandcastles, having a swim, then this is your class.
